Aloha-Day 4

The last day we were in Hawaii was amazing. We got up at 5am to go snorkling with Michael's boss, Joe, in Hanauma Bay. Joe had spent four years of his childhood living in Honolulu and this was his favorite spot to go snorkling, so we felt lucky to have such a great guide. And we quickly saw why it was his favorite spot. I went out once with Michael and we saw a sea turtle! And Joe and Michael ran into a couple of octopi among many other crazy funky clowny beautiful fish.

I just noticed that guy in the background. :D

Michael took a walk with Elliott down the beach. You can see that not many people were there yet. They actually limit the number of people on this beach because it is a nature preserve.

Elliott loved the large sandbox to play in. And seriously, I tried to keep him from eating the sand, but alas...

Yummy sandwhich.

Taking a shuttle back up the hill to the parking lot.

Our flight was at 2 in the afternoon, so we were able to enjoy the morning and then got on our way. This was Elliott's second flight ever (we forgot to take pictures of his first one, which was on the way going to Hawaii). He was so great on both flights!
