One of our favorite spots at Mt. Rainier is the Nisqually River Valley. Boulders from the top of the mountain are slowly moved downhill through the action of glaciers and heavy water flow.
The melting glaciers still cause some heavy water flow, but the National Park Service has done a good job of making it passable, even for infants.
Collin loves contributing to erosion by throwing rocks into the river.
Marshall's Brother wanted to show off his mad balancing skillz as he sat on one of the cedar logs that hangs over the river.
Collin and Grandma hugging.
More action shots from Collin.
