July 4th!

Our small community is awesome. We have a home owners association with only 22 homes in it. Every July 4th, we close down the street and have a party in the community park with obscene amounts of food and obscene amounts of fireworks.






They got a waterslide and we got some actions shots of the kids. Collin was freaked out after the first trip, so we only got one picture of him, but Isabel went down many times. (Click on the pictures for close up shots of Isabel)






They also had some games and other activities for the kids. Isabel was a pro at "fishing for ducks" (Why don't they call it ducking?) Collin loved the squirt guns and the patriotic tattoos.

Collin had a little bit of trouble with the loud noises. What you don't see is the second set of earplugs he has underneath the headgear. The first pair was insufficient for his delicate ears. Of course, he had trouble following directions after that.

And lastly, Andrea was caught contributing to the delinquency of a minor (yes mom, it is rootbeer).
