Last night Isabel and I went on a "Girls' Night Out" together. We went out to eat and then went shopping for school supplies. We also had a cupcake recipe that she wanted to try out, so we took an ingredient list with us to shop for a few ingredients we didn't have in stock. (Hey, if anyone knows where to buy sunflower oil, let me know. We went to two grocery stores and we still can't find any.)
We went to Red Robin and I pigged out on fried shrimp, a guilty pleasure of mine.
...Isabel ordered a corn dog and cantalope slices, her fave Red Robin dish.
...picking out some notebooks. I'm telling you there is nothing like a fresh notebook and a brand new box of crayons. Small pleasures.
Here we are in the car just goofing around.
