Isabel's Birthday Part 1

We had a small family party for Isabel. Andrea made a beautiful cake with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. It was so picturesque that it deserved background music.



As soon as we began to cut it all of the ingredients spilled out.



And more ammunition for the "i hate my parents" file. We forgot to buy candles. Andrea will tell you that I made her throw away perfectly good half-used candles six months ago (during one of my moments of trying to keep the house clean). Fortunately we had a left over fragrant Christmas candle.
